Getting a Medical Marijuana Education
For a more classical approach to education, the University of Maryland, Baltimore launched a Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics program, the first of its kind in the country. The program is designed for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are looking to increase their understanding of the medical cannabis industry, add to existing research, and develop a well-informed medical cannabis policy. The program initially opened with room for only 50 students, but after receiving over 500 applications, they expanded the program to 150.
