How-To Steps for Getting a Medical Marijuana Card in Georgia

1. Find a Certified Doctor and Get Evaluated!

In Georgia, finding a cannabis-friendly doctor isn’t always easy, and certified doctors seem scarce. But, that’s why we’re here to help.

2. Get Evaluated and Fill Out The Paperwork

Once you’ve found a proper doctor, they will evaluate your health and see if you qualify for a Low-THC Oil Registry Card. Then, you and your physician will both fill out the proper paperwork; they will be in charge of submitting it for the Georgia Department of Public Health.

3. Submit the Forms and Wait for Approval

After the paperwork has been submitted, all you have to do is wait for approval. The approval process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to go through, so be a bit patient.

4. Pay Your Fees and Pick Up Your Card!

As soon as you get approved, you will need to go pick up your card from one of the 20 Department of Public Health Offices in the state. There, you’ll pay a $25 fee for the card. Pay the fee, and you’re all set to buy some low-THC oil.
