After months of ambiguity, frustration, delays, and distractions, the DHSS has finally passed the commencement inspection of the last piece of the puzzle. Medical marijuana will be ready for consumption in Missouri late October/early November. Despite only a few cultivations being ready to have product tested, the industry will be picking up velocity as we finish the year.
It is quoted in the article that “Missouri’s implementation of its medical marijuana program has been one of the most efficient implementations in the nation, with implementation time coming in well below average, despite a pandemic.” Kudos to the department for keeping the ball rolling through lawsuits and a novel coronavirus.
