NJ marijuana laws state that patients unable to travel to dispensaries can designate a caregiver or have the state assign a caregiver for them. A caregiver retrieves cannabis orders for MMJ patients from an NJ medical marijuanas dispensary and delivers the products to them. 

To become a caregiver, you must register online. Patients can have up to two MMJ caregivers.

Does New Jersey Accept Out-of-State MMJ Cards?
