Can Missouri Residents with a Patient Card Grow Medical Marijuana at Home?
So, what if you can’t go out to dispensaries in Springfield or want to avoid bothersome trips to the dispensary? Can you grow medical marijuana at home?
Fortunately, a qualifying patient (or their licensed primary caregiver) may apply for a home cultivation license in Missouri.
With a home cultivation license, you may cultivate up to six flowering plants and six non-flowering plants.
However, you can only grow the plants in an enclosed, locked facility.
Also, qualifying patients under the age of 18 cannot cultivate, but their caregivers can grow marijuana on their behalf.
Please note that only a qualifying patient or caregiver (always a parent or guardian) may apply for home cultivation in Missouri.
